Class Level Descriptions
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
 
Level 1 classes are appropriate for beginners as well as practitioners of all levels. Fundamental postures will be introduced with slower and
more detailed instructions in a supportive environment.

Level 2 classes are for those with some yoga experience.
A wider variety of poses and their variations will be explored.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
 
Level 3 classes are appropriate for more experienced practitioners.
This is a more challenging practice delving into arm balances,
inversions and backbends.

Restorative Yoga consist of gentle movement and supported poses that provide deep relaxation for the body while quieting the mind. Restorative poses help release tension in the muscles, the joints and the spine through the use of props.  The class will also include mindfulness meditation, body scan and breath work. This class is appropriate for all levels. It is scheduled Monthly.

Yoga for Strength this 60 minute class focuses on building strength
and stamina through yoga poses. There will be particular emphasis on
core strength to support the yoga postures as well as our postures in our daily activities. It is open to all levels of practitioners.

We recommend that beginners attend level 1 classes initially.
